Learn about our story, our mission, and the impact we're making in our community.
The Brothers United Mentorship Program was founded in 2018 by a group of educators and community leaders who recognized the need for targeted support for racialized elementary school boys.
What began as a small after-school program with just 15 students and 5 mentors has grown into a comprehensive mentorship initiative serving over 100 students across multiple schools.
Our founding principle remains unchanged: creating safe spaces where young students can build confidence, develop skills, and form positive relationships with mentors who understand their experiences.
We believe in the power of community to uplift and support our youth. By creating a network of mentors, educators, parents, and students, we build a foundation for success.
Through meaningful mentorship, we provide guidance that helps students navigate academic challenges, personal growth, and social development.
We foster environments where students can develop new skills, build confidence, and grow into leaders who will positively impact their communities.
